We are seeking a qualified current undergraduate or graduate student to intern remotely at What Detox. Interns will learn how to successfully operate an online business focusing on nutrition and body detoxification.
The internship is unpaid. Students are often able to arrange academic credit, as What Detox internships offer:
Students should check with their individual academic institutions for requirements.
Interns will be responsible for watching educational videos and submitting follow-up assignments in addition to receiving training on working at a remote-only company.
Weekly mock assignments will be evaluated and interns will work with their mentors to develop a competency improvement plan.
Assignments will range from creating and/or editing content, creating a sample editorial calendar, analyzing website analytics data to determine best content strategies, creating a sample back link strategy, creating a sample budget, all the way to reviewing scholarship applications and everything in between.
Applicants studying nutrition or internet marketing will be preferred.
The intern must be an enrolled student for the duration of the internship term. Applicants should be well-organized, self-motivated and reliable. Relevant coursework in nutrition, marketing and work towards a nutrition or marketing degree are desirable. Computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office, Excel, and internet applications) are required. Experience with more advanced computer programs that can enhance pictures and streamline online business practices is highly desirable.
